European press publishers call for international support to free press to be able to do their job unhindered in Ukraine

Today, EMMA & ENPA reiterate the importance of the role of free media reporting on the large-scale conflict taking place in Ukraine.

We condemn all acts of violence and aggression that put in danger the free and democratic press and thousands of journalists across Ukraine.

We call on the international community to provide direct assistance to the independent Ukrainian media and journalists who are taking on the brave role of reporting from Ukraine.

We stand in solidarity with free and independent media who continue to report the truth in unprecedented conditions.
